Privacy notice

What we collect

If you reserve a spot, we collect your name, business name, email, trade and, if you give them, the councils or suburbs you service. We use them only to contact you about Starts Nearby and to set up your weekly list.

Where it is kept

Your details are kept in our business email (Google Workspace) and a private list. We do not sell, rent or share them. Google Workspace and our web host, Vercel, handle them on our behalf and may store them outside Australia.

Access, correction and deletion

Email hello@startsnearby.com to see, correct or delete what we hold about you. We will do so within five working days.

About the data in our lists

Site addresses come from public NSW records: the construction certificates and complying development certificates on the NSW Planning Portal, published by the NSW Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure under a Creative Commons Attribution licence. Our lists contain addresses, build details and builders' company names only. We never show owners' names or the names of individual builders or owner-builders.
